The Sameer Project (@TheSameerProject) is a donations based aid initiative, led by four Palestinians in the diaspora, working to supply an emergency response and funding to the displaced families in Gaza. For immediate and direct help, please donate to these verified families below or read the interviews where I personally speak with individuals during the crisis. Not every family can go to a soup kitchen to get food. They are not near a free medical service, so direct donations are their lifeline.

I am Eman from Gaza. I am 21 years old and I have been suffering from a problem in my left foot since I was 15 and I am unable to treat it. Help me get out of this damned war to get treatment. I am a young woman and I do not want my condition to get worse.
I am a university student and I hope to become a doctor and treat the children of Gaza, but I do not have the ability to continue my education. All our goals and dreams have been destroyed.
Can you help me get out of this war to get treatment and continue my education so that I can support my family with a little money? We cannot afford a handful of flour. If I receive donations, I will not neglect the children of Gaza. I will organize activities and entertainment for them.
I always have hope in you that you will provide me with assistance to help everyone, support my family, and complete my studies. I am very grateful and thankful to everyone who helps me and stands by me in this tragedy.

Hello, I am Walaa, a mother of four children. I lost my fifth child in the war.
My children and I were burned and all of us were injured. We are seven people living in one tent and suffering from the tragedy of the war on Gaza.
We resist the bombing, terror, destruction, disease and hunger.

I am Israa, a high school student. My family and I live in the northern Gaza Strip. Our life was full of happiness, comfort and reassurance with family, friends and loved ones until the war came and separated us and scattered us.
Now we are struggling with loss, pain and hunger without shelter after they destroyed our dreams and hopes. We thought that they only destroyed the homes, but they destroyed our spirit too.
We in Gaza love life. We love to live in safety. We did not want war, but it was imposed on us. We hope that you can help us.
